Robert Drasnin will be signing the new “Voodoo” picture disc (as well as his “Voodoo” and “Voodoo II” releases) at La Luz de Jesus Gallery on Friday, August 23, 2008 between 6 pm - 8 pm. Visual artist Heather Watts will also be on hand to sign the record. Robert Drasnin and Skip Heller will be performing a few songs at the event. If you live anywhere near, please drop by! We’ll probably head to the Tiki Ti for drinks afterward.

This year’s Tiki Oasis event features a packed schedule including some Dionysus related entertainment, namely a set by the legendary ROBERT DRASNIN, performing his exotica masterpieces “Voodoo” and “Voodoo II,” plus a set of vintage vinyl from Dionysus Records’ “DJ Lee.” Artist Heather Watts will also be at Oasis selling velvet paintings, prints and jewelry. There will be plenty of Dionysus exotica and surf releases for sale at the Tiki News vendor booth. Hope to see you there!
