Groovie Records have paired two ultra-rare Brazilian ‘60s singles onto one EP. Os 5 “Jotas” give us two quirky beat punkers with tough guitars, woozy fairground organ and moaning vocal back-ups -- similar to Los Saicos -- while Ronaldo Soares performs two eerie spoken word laments with rough’n’twangy guitar accompaniment. Very cool sounds. Foldout sleeve has the original artwork for both releases.
